Response to Tim's: "Free Entry, Week 12"
I'm going to disagree with Casey, here. The draft is not asking what causes "echoes" but WHO "[d]ecided...on the distance of echoes," which I find interesting, yet unknowable, which lends to the argument that's found later in the draft by the desire of the mother to obtain "solitude." I think what becomes a tad unclear in near the end of the draft, does the speaker then become the "echo" of the "four-letter distress" to the mother or does she want to sound a "distress" of her own? The draft might also elaborate on what causes "Tommy" to sound this obscene "echo." Great draft!
